How many homes are off-limits?

Each shaded area is within 1,000 feet of a church, school, licensed child care program, park, playground, library, pool or recreation center in the SettledGA places database. Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 42-1-15) bars many people on the registry from living inside these areas.

Homes are 2020 Census housing units, assumed spread evenly within each census block. Only places an official list, county tax records plus another source, or two sources confirm are counted, so the real zones may be larger. Distances are approximate and this map is not legal advice.
